I don’t think it is!
People are destroying it them selfs, not the texting language and anyway people don’t use it to much, they use it for some words like OMG but i think slang is destroying english. people say gas instead of lie. What is the point? it does not take long to say lie does it. But it does take a while to say oh my god!

Only if it’s used in contexts other than a text chat. I hate it when people comment “lol,” on my blog, for some reason it really gets on my nerves!
